Very nice ambience, the dishes are large and there are enough XXL dishes that are highly recommended. Great keep it up ?

Everything wasn't that good and wasn't really warm anymore. Drinks and mood are of course great, you should eat beforehand.

Food was excellent in taste, as was the service, fast and friendly service! Before that I sat for 10 minutes in the neighboring restaurant without being served, so next time straight to Struwwelpeter!

Original rustic apple wine bar with Frankfurt specialties and the best green sauce ever. Super nice staff, we had a lot of fun. Fkammkuchen has been available for a short time and it's really delicious. Top - highly recommended.

Then To take the order of the meals, we needed to know what to take for the smallest of our children. I can understand that he know neither English nor French but he answered in a very rude way. We were with our family to have a good time ... it was not the case....

We were seated at the table with strangers. I don't know if that's that good in Corona times. Drinks were great and everything went very quickly. Unfortunately there was a lot of tk at the meal.

슈바인스학세 맛집입니다. Nice food, kind staffs, and full of good memories. The first time I visited this place was about 15 years ago. I was there with my dad in a group of tourists. I liked the place. They have the best Schweinshaxe. so I went there again 7 and 8 years later personally with my sister. I was happy that nothing has changed ever since then. I hope it stays the same until I visit again, when this crazy moment is over. I miss it.

This place is not expensive. But quality of food and drink is not as good. We ordered schnitzels with potatoes, they were too dry and overdone. But portions are huge. The color of alwelwein shows that is has planty of water inside. But atmosphere is good, beautiful place in the old part of city. Service is good.

Cool and interesting bar if you want nothing special... but the quality of the food was below average, and service is incredibly rude. We were two couples with baby strollers and apparently they were such an issue the man that was waiting on us went on and on about how the stroller were in the way... um we were sitting outside and there were barely any people around us. This very unhappy man maybe should have put more effort into providing good service then our babies and strollers. Not family friendly, absolute waste of money and time stay away!

Yesterday I was in this restaurant with my girls. The cider was great! The food as well - large portions and super juicy schnitzel! Waiters were all courteous and friendly and sociable despite the Corona with mask. We will be back!

For me this place is must visit! Very authentic atmosphere there, artisanal wine and beer, funny waiters :D Beautiful outside terrace.

Food is good and portions are bigger than you need. It's typical German style therefore you feel that you visit a different place than your hometown (other than Germans of course :) )

Don't get me wrong here, but when I decide to stop for a bite of good local Hesse cuisine at a restaurant with obvious close interior association with traditional Frankfurt pubs I am a little sceptic when neither the waiters nor the owner are locals. If you know what I mean. And again: don't take me wrong, but if you go to an Indian restaurant (which is, moreover, focussed on authenticity) you'd also expect not to be served by Joe Sample working for Jon Doe. In general, food was okay but in comparison to other places did have this little touch of convenience products

Terrible service and discriminating. The workers were rude, and we had to call them ten times just to place an order, when the restaurant was only half filled with people. The staffs were extremely rude, knowing we come from ireland and do not speak german. When we went to pay the bill, that was only when they were polite. Food was ok.

Traditional atmosphere, excellent food and polite staff. Truly a good place to go.

I went as part of a group. The waiter was very rude. The potatoes were almost cold, I did not like the food at all and I was requited to order a drink even if I did not need one.

Went in for one glass of apfelwein. Had to leave after that anyway as all tables were reserved for a large group.

We came across this restaurant by accident. A typical old Frankfurt pub. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside. The weather was not ideal, but the food and prices were super fair. The service was fast and very friendly. I really recommend the restaurant.

The staff is AMAZING. My husband and I stood out as tourists right away when we walked in. The place was packed but this sweet man who looked to be the manager came right over and asked if we would want to eat and didn’t mind sitting with a German family! He went out of his way to provide service to us. The waiter we had was incredibly patient with us as there was a language barrier. The food was by far the best we have had on this trip. I got # 53 and he got # 43. The beer.. glorious!!! best tasting beer I’ve had. It was reasonably priced. Thank you to the friendly staff and sweet family so much for making us feel welcomed!

Typical old school German restaurant. Lots of outdoor place under umbrellas. Service was with a smile, prompt. Food and beer deserve a second visit. Lively ambience. We had a family dinner in the evening. Loved it
